Found Panoramic

I like this photo because of the array of colored lights. They reflect onto the water which also is memorizing.

The photo shows a use of converging lines and the effect of it becoming smaller. I love how it does this. The roads seem very long and unwinding.

Wayra by Adria McKennon

The ground shook as the civilians of the island fled for their lives. A spherical contraption appeared through the smoke it was giving off. One little boy approached the catastrophe.

"Feng! Get away from there!" his mother screamed.

Smooth and shiny hands rose out of the ground. The creatures' block of a body pulled its' way out of the rubble. A loud roar bellowed from his large mouth. Everyone screamed except the boy who instead walked towards the monster and held out his hand.

"I'm gonna call you Wayra because you roar like the wind." Feng said. "Since you seem lonely, you can home with me."

His new friend started to follow him home. But Feng's mother wouldn't allow it. Wayra's one eye appeared angry towards the boy. But the boy still smiled.

"Wayra. Stay here. I'll be back for you tonight." he whispered.

Instead of validating this request. The monster simply roared in his face and ran towards the rubble. The boy took this as a yes and cheerfully went home. Throughout the day, Wayra paced back and forth still feeling frustrated. He never remembered having someone show affection towards him in his life. He fell flat on his face from exhaustion still thinking about the same thing. Did he ever have someone who loved him?
The dark sky was there to wake him up. Moon and it's light reflected off the surface of his smooth skin. Rustling of leaves startled him. Feng ran towards Wayra with his arms wide open. Sitting down, Wayra roared at him for disturbing his sleep.

"As promised I'm back and I've brought food." the boy exclaimed.

The boys hands held an array of colorful items. But none of them looked appetizing to him. A roll of brown paper appeared in the corner of his eye. The monster started to drool from the sight of it. He stared blankly at the object. Feng saw him looking at it and grabbed it.

"You like this?" Feng said picking it up. "Here. Have some."

Wayra opened his mouth and gobbled the paper in one bite. The boy was pleased that he could help his friend. Feng held out his hand and slowly put it towards Wayra's. He was trusted. Wayra grabbed Feng instead and placed him on his back. He began to run as fast as the speed of light and transported to Feng's garage. Feng guided Wayra into his garage and closed the doors while saying goodnight to his friend.
Wayra remembered something that night about his childhood. The cold moonlight and its various lights. Wayra was the opening act of the villages' theater every night. He figured out that his people were nocturnal and always were awake at night. This explained why he felt so tired during the day.
His talent was singing classical songs. Everyone adored his golden voice from their hectic night. From the famous Bach to the complex Mozart. It was a different thing from any music his people were listening to.
But why was he on this planet? Wayra arrived there with what he thought was no purpose. Maybe he had a destiny to live. Feng was the one to help him figure it out. He would have to attempt to communicate with this boy. Wayra decided to practice this theory.

"Ha....aai Ffff...Feng." Wayra was a fast learner and spoke more. " I am sorry for being so mad at you." He stopped there and knew that he would say this to Feng.

Morning came and the rooster crowed on Feng's roof. Wayra waited for his little friend to open the doors to feed him. Stomping of little feet was made outside. Feng opened the doors and multiple rolls of brown paper were in his arms. Wayra's eye lit up and he started to jump up and down in excitement.

"Eat up Wayra because today we're going to go explore the town." Feng said.

In multiple gulps Wayra ate the strange delicacy. They walked out of the building and journeyed to the town. Large buildings surrounded them. But Feng had a particular place he wanted to go to. Next to the ice cream shop sat one Feng's favorite places. The music store. The two walked through the bell ringing door and saw amazing instruments. The owner was shocked to see what Feng brought. Employees ran into the back part of the store to hide. Feng and Wayra had the store to themselves.
They had a similar taste when it came to musical instruments. Feng sat down on the piano while Wayra stood near him. His little fingers began to play. Chords, flats, minors, majors enticed Wayra to join in. Wayra's vocal chords produced the music from what he heard and added harmonies to the melodies along the way. Feng stopped in the middle of his song.

"You should be the musical director of our town."
